Descrizione

Lo yacht da gentiluomo “Thalia” è disponibile per un nuovo appassionato come proprietario.

Questo splendido design del signor H.W. de Voogt, costruito presso il cantiere “Het Fort” di de Vries Lentsch con numero di costruzione 843 a Nieuwendam, può quindi definirsi un vero Feadship.
Abilmente restaurato, con una storia completa disponibile e ancora perfettamente mantenuto.

Il vascello è stato progettato per effettuare grandi viaggi al largo, mentre le dimensioni sono state scelte in modo tale da poter effettuare anche il viaggio attraverso i canali francesi verso la Riviera.

Uno yacht con una storia unica e documentata

La storia della Thalia si legge come un viaggio nel tempo:

1934 - Varato come "Timonia" per il fiero proprietario sig. D.J. Smits
1935-1940 - Viaggi estesi nel sud Europa
1941 - Sequestrato durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale e impiegato come nave della guardia costiera dall'isola di Sylt
1947 - Rientrato in servizio civile come "Elsa", di proprietà del sig. W. Huysman della fabbrica di cacao De Zaan
1950 - Grande refit sotto la direzione di De Voogt (tra cui rinnovamento della plancia, delle ringhiere e dei motori)
Anni ‘50-‘70 - Negli anni successivi è stato uno yacht molto noto nella regione di Zaan, dove sono stati fatti molti affari a bordo con gli americani riguardo alla fabbrica di cacao
1975 - Acquisito dalla famiglia Verloop, rinominato "Marie José". La famiglia ha effettuato un viaggio a Mallorca con esso.
1990 - Venduto alla famiglia Niemeyer, nome "Gratia"
2000 - Venduto alla famiglia italiana Antonori; questa famiglia ha grandi progetti per questo splendido yacht e affronta un refit in grande stile. L'intero scafo viene rinnovato, la parte posteriore viene rifatta, molte lamiere di prua a sinistra e a destra, completamente nuovo legno di coperta sabbiato e molto altro, tutto presso il noto cantiere Balk a Elburg. Poi la famiglia giunse alla conclusione che forse era troppo piccolo e il lavoro sullo yacht completamente smontato fu interrotto, rimanendo per dieci anni all'interno del capannone presso Balk.
2000-2010 - Progetto sospeso, nave immagazzinata a lungo all'interno
2020 - Acquisto da parte dell'attuale proprietario, famiglia Roode, rinominato "Thalia". Con ancora molti componenti originali, inizia il restauro di questo unico Feadship.

Sulla vita dello yacht da gentiluomo Thalia è disponibile una vasta documentazione e disegni, rapporti e foto per la vostra consultazione. Anche per gli ultimi quindici anni di refit/restauro è tutto presente.
