Description
The Lagoon 38 sets new standards in the 38-foot catamaran segment, combining modern design, generous living comfort, and excellent sailing characteristics. As the successor to the legendary Lagoon 380, this model has been completely redeveloped and offers significantly more space, light, and functionality on board.
With a hull length of 11.38 m, a width of 6.65 m, and an optimized sail area of 77.7 m², the Lagoon 38 provides an ideal combination of stability, performance, and easy handling – perfect for families, private owners, or professional charter operations.
The innovative “In & Out” concept connects the cockpit and salon through a large sliding door to create a continuous living area. This creates a spacious lounge atmosphere where up to ten people can comfortably dine and relax together.
The bright salon with panoramic windows offers excellent all-round visibility and plenty of natural light. The L-shaped galley is functionally designed and provides ample storage space as well as cooling options for longer trips. Depending on the version, 3- or 4-cabin layouts are available, allowing comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people.
Under sail, the Lagoon 38 impresses with its easy-to-handle rig featuring a full-batten mainsail and self-tacking jib, allowing even small crews to maneuver the boat effortlessly. For additional performance, an optional Code 0 sail is available.
The catamaran is powered by two Yanmar diesel engines with 29 HP each, which, in combination with a 400-liter diesel tank, ensure reliable range and safe maneuverability in the harbor.
Thanks to its thoughtful construction, modern materials, and generous tank capacities, the Lagoon 38 is well-suited for both relaxed coastal trips and longer blue-water journeys.
