Mechanical & Rigging

The boat is fitted with a Honda 20hp four-stroke outboard, offering dependable performance with low noise and excellent fuel efficiency. The engine benefits from full OEM warranty, providing complete peace of mind.

Electric start is fitted as standard, alongside an upgraded hydraulic steering system with power assistance — delivering smooth, precise handling both at low speeds and underway.

The integrated fuel system includes a built-in fuel tank, fuel gauge, and fuel-water separator, all neatly incorporated into the console layout. Engine instrumentation is clearly presented at the helm, alongside a switch panel controlling the onboard electrical systems.

A removable swim ladder is neatly stowed beneath the rear bench seat and secures onto two stainless steel eyes, ensuring it remains firmly in place over the tubes when deployed.

Inventory

Built on Northstar’s Delta-Lift hull, the Axis 3.1 offers easy planing, good stability, and a notably dry ride for a boat of this size. The hull is paired with heavy-duty CSM (Hypalon) tubes, providing excellent durability while keeping overall weight low — ideal for tender applications.

The deck is self-bailing when underway and finished with marine-grade upholstery throughout. The ergonomically designed console incorporates integrated seating, and there are generous storage compartments positioned throughout the boat, making it practical for everyday use.

Deck hardware includes three retractable cleats, four lifting rings suitable for davits, and additional U-bolts for securing or towing. An anchor locker is integrated forward, and the boat is equipped with a swimming ladder for ease of boarding.

The electrical system includes LED navigation lights, an all-round light, and an automatic bilge pump, all operated via a central switch panel.
