The Custom 150 schooner DONA FRANCISCA is a fusion of classic design and modern functionality. Recently refitted and meticulously maintained, she was constructed in Montevideo over five years in collaboration with global experts. DONA FRANCISCA is the brainchild of an owner with an unwavering passion for sailing and a lifetime of passion, hard work and adventurous endeavors. Inspired by the classical style of 1900s golden age sailing boats, she stands as the world's largest carbon fiber sailboat, a symbol of craftsmanship and engineering.

DONA FRANCISCA's versatility is evident in her ability to navigate both global waters and shallow areas, thanks to a draft brought to 3.5m. Maneuverability is enhanced by a large rudder and two Maxpower R600 thrusters, allowing access to small ports. With a crossing speed of over 10 knots under engine power and 17 knots under sail, this yacht delivers a thrilling and seamless sailing experience.

The general exterior and interior, designed by Javier Soto Acebal and refined by experts like Miguel Costa and Ruben Gomez, reflects a blend of sophistication and functionality. A recent refit in 2023-2024 included aesthetic carpentry, rigging paint job, and comprehensive maintenance, ensuring both form and function. The main salon and dining room, spanning the entire beam, feature an elegant and classical style for lounging, meals and experiences. She is illuminated with tasteful old classical lamps along with natural light from the special prisms in the deck. Her entire interior design is meant to be reminiscent of classical 1900s yachts with the use of bronze and wood, including the faucets in the bathrooms and galley.

DONA FRANCISCA's comfort extends to her galley, equipped with a MIELE stove, three main fridges, and a freezer. Entertainment is provided by multiple TVs and a SONY music system. A DOMETIC air conditioning system maintains a pleasant atmosphere throughout, enhancing the overall onboard experience. Accommodations include a full-beam owner's suite, twin guest cabins, and crew cabins, with a total capacity of up to eight guests and up to six crew members. She was designed to be manned by the smallest possible crew. All sailing operations are carried out using hydraulic power, eliminating the need for significant human strength to sail.
