The Trader 42 is a true sporty all-rounder for both inland waters and the open sea, thanks to a combination of ample practical interior space and good sailing characteristics. With its semi-planing hull shape, the maximum speed is around 22 knots. This Trader 42 features a fixed hardtop (HT) with an integrated convertible sliding roof above the helm. The deck is level with the helm and offers a beautiful high view around the ship. Both side decks provide sufficient safety and support on the way to the foredeck. The salon can be accessed from both the aft deck and the starboard side door. The interior of this Trader 42 feels very high quality due to its detailed wood finishing and luxurious materials. The two double cabins have their own access and each has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. The ship is equipped with: a complete tent around the aft deck with clear visibility windows (renewed in 2022), integrated cockpit bench with folding table featuring a lacquered wooden top, outdoor lighting, 2 x mirror doors, Lenco trim tabs, 2 x luxury helmsman seats on a sliding track + companion bench on the port side, passage in the railing on both port and starboard sides, 4 x integrated storage boxes in the foredeck, plenty of stainless steel deck fittings, side door on the starboard side with a flyscreen, Bosch dishwasher, washer-dryer combination, TV in the salon, screens for portholes, wooden blinds, indirect and dimmable ambient lighting, L-shaped sofa in the salon with fold-out stool, Racor fuel filters, spacious engine room with good access to the technology, fixed integrated stairs in the transom, large and wide swimming platform, digital engine information (revolutions/consumption/hour meter/engine conditions).
