This ship has a plaque from the SSRP on board from a previous registration, but is now "registered" in Category X in the Register and is therefore marked as 'Inactive'. The ship and owner are currently NOT "actively" connected to the SSRP as a Conservation Organization. The current owner is (not yet) included in our administration. Participation in Events where the requirement is that the ship and the owner are connected to the same Conservation Organization as part of the FVEN is therefore NOT possible from the SSRP.

This means that the ship is still part of the Registration Procedure (re-registration) or, which applies to most ships, the owner has not re-registered the ship and therefore does not pay an annual contribution to the SSRP for Registration in the Register. Any mentioned data of the ship and former owners usually dates from the period of previous 'active' Registrations and is likely not complete and possibly not correct. For this ship, because it does not demonstrably meet the Criteria of the SSRP, no Measurement Certificate can be issued by the KNWV.

One of the most popular ships that have been launched at the yard of Kooiman and de Vries, later van Rijnsoever, in Deil on the Linge is the Vollenhovense Bol. The popularity of the ship among flat-bottomed sailors comes from the fact that it is available in several sizes, sails easily and is maneuverable, is spacious in its various lengths, requires relatively little maintenance due to its construction in steel, and can be considered favorably priced. The design is by the well-known ship architect Ir. J.K. Gipon, who, since the 1950s, has designed a large number of modern steel round and flat-bottomed yachts. The design he drew fits the existing ship type of the same name.

The Vollenhovense bol 'Bollevaer' was built in 1993 by Van Rijnsoever. The client was J. Heule from Aerdenhout who named her 'Elise J.C.' at the launch.
