Description

Beautiful aluminum Northern Comfort 43 sailing yacht with cutter rigging. Yacht architect Dick Zaal is one of the most well-known and experienced Dutch yacht architects, among others known as the house architect of Contest Yachts, and certainly needs no introduction to experienced sailors. His designs excel in seaworthiness and are therefore popular among others with departing sailors. The Northern Comfort 43 is a high-quality yacht built of aluminum and insulated with PU foam above the waterline. It is a true offshore sailing yacht for the demanding sailor, ideal as a comfortable departure boat thanks to the 2.16-meter deep keel and fixed sprayhood. The boat underwent a very large refit during the winter period of 2012 - 2013, see all details about this in the specification list. Since then, the boat has always been well maintained and is in fully sail-ready condition.


The interior is just as beautiful as the exterior with light oak paneling. There is a fixed sprayhood from where you have a good overview of the boat and surroundings and can sit sheltered, which is ideal in heavier conditions. Upon entering through the so-called doghouse, to port is the navigation corner with all navigation and communication equipment. To starboard is the wet cell with toilet and shower. Midships is the salon with a settee to port and an L-shaped settee to starboard. To starboard is the practical galley with solid Force-10 stove-oven combination and refrigeration. In the forepeak is the owner's cabin with a double V-berth and en-suite wet cell with shower. The engine room at the entrance was renovated in 2012-2013 and the engine is easily accessible for service. For those looking for a well-sailing, perfectly maintained, and luxuriously equipped quality yacht, this Northern Comfort 43 is an absolute recommendation.
